A twelve-month warranty applies to labour and parts used in repairs carried out by The Chair King.
Office chair cleaning is not covered by warranty.
Warranty repairs will be carried out onsite by The Chair King.
If chairs need to be removed for repair under warranty, The Chair King will bear the cost of pick-up and re-delivery.
The Chair King offers no warranty on second-hand or reconditioned chairs.
The warranty shall not cover any defect or damage which may be caused or partly caused by or arise through:
(i) failure on the part of the Customer to properly maintain any Goods; or
(ii) failure on the part of the Customer to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the Chair King; or
(iii) any use of any Goods otherwise than for any application specified on a quote or order form (the chair warranty is based on an eight hour, single shift work day and unless specifically stated otherwise are intended for users weighing up to and no more than 120kgs); or
(iv) damage caused by negligence, abuse, accident or shipping.
(v) the continued use of any Goods after any defect becomes apparent or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent operator or user; or
(vi) fair wear and tear, any accident or act of God.
The warranty shall cease and the Chair King shall thereafter in no circumstances be liable under the terms of the warranty if the workmanship is repaired, altered or overhauled without the Chair King's consent.
In respect of all claims the Chair King shall not be liable to compensate the Customer for any delay in either replacing or remedying the workmanship or in properly assessing the Customer’s claim.
The warranty is not applicable to end user customers who use the Goods for rental purposes.
The warranty shall be the current warranty provided by the manufacturer of the Goods. The Chair King shall not be bound by nor be responsible for any term, condition, representation or warranty other than that which is given by the manufacturer of the Goods.
